She is currently a resident of New York City. Chando was a student at Manhattan College prior to becoming an actor. Chando is best known for playing Maddie Coleman from As the World Rotates, the tv soap opera that she appeared in between 2005 and 2007. Also, she appeared for the second time at the beginning of 2009, this time for a few months. Alexandra made her debut in 2002 on House Blend in 2002 as Jenna Harper. The following year, she was cast on the American TV soap opera which airs on CBS, As the World Turns in the role of Maddie Coleman. Chando played in American documentary films True life and Sherri in 2009; she was also a part of the Maddie Coleman character in the series As the World turns. In addition, Chando starred in Glory Daze's two episodes in the role of Annabelle. In addition, her other television show credits include Castle, Hindsight, Dead People and Outcast.
