Chando currently lives with her family in New York City. Chando studied at Manhattan College prior to becoming an actor. Chando was the original Maddie Coleman of the television soap opera As World Turns. She played this role between 2005 and 2007 before returning for several months in 2009 at the end. Alexandra began her professional career acting with the TV series House Blend on which she portrayed Jenna Harper. She also played Maddie Coleman in the CBS soap As the World Turns for three years. Later in 2009, Chando appeared in American documentary TV series True life and further appeared on the show Sherri. Chando also played Annabelle in two episodes of Glory Daze, an American comedy and drama television show. Her other television credits include Castle, Hindsight Dead People, and Outcast.
