She lives in New York City. Chando studied at Manhattan College prior to becoming an actor. Chando played the character Maddie Coleman in the TV soap drama As The World Turns from 2005-2007 and, for a short period starting late 2009 her character was reprised. Alexandra was first seen on the screen in 2002, with House Blend in 2002 as Jenna Harper. As the World Turns on CBS was her first TV role following three years. Chando played in American documentary films True life and Sherri in 2009; she was also a part of the Maddie Coleman character in the series As the World turns. In addition, she appeared in two episodes of American comedy-drama television series Glory Daze as Annabelle. In addition, her other TV show credits are Castle, Hindsight, Dead People and Outcast.
