As a character in The Perfect Tribute, she made her debut on television a few years after. In 1992, her acting career launched when she appeared as a supporting role in the film Basic Instinct. The Firm marked her first part as a female lead actress, opposite Tom Cruise & Gene Hackman. In the 90s, her work included working alongside top Hollywood actors like Gwyneth on Sliding doors, Hugh Grant Mickey Blue Eyes, and Julie Andrews Relative Values. Recently, she was her character of Dr. Alex Blake in Criminal Minds.
